Can’t connect to remote computer after adding switch to my network?

I just added a switch and a new server to my network that consisted of just a router and a server.
After I added the switch and a second server I can no longer remote desktop into either server but I can ping the old server not the new one. Any ideas why this would happen?
The switch is unmanaged so it should just work when plugged in right?

does the switch have any type of firewall or port blocking enabled?

Just Allow RDP in Router.
and check both server’s are in same vlan.
is not configure the router for inter vlan communication.
